GRIND & SEAL

Regardless of your choice of final finish concrete grinding is the first stage in the process. We remove all old surface coatings to leave a clean and flat surface.

A grind and seal is often preferred over a polished solution due to the cost savings it provides. This form of concrete finish can still look very nice and offers the same high durability and excellent stain resistant qualities.

Some concrete floors, typically those of poor strength cannot be mechanically polished. We can help you determine which level of finish is best suited to your individual floor and budget.

We discovered a large number of residential and commercial customers like yourself who require concrete grinding, sealing and polishing services for only a small area of floor space. In ringing around for quotes you may find that larger companies are not willing to accommodate your small job.

Small Floors Concrete Polishing are different! We operate a sleek/lightweight business which allows us to provide you with an excellent service at an affordable price.

1What is the smallest concrete floor you'll work on?
This depends on several factors such as location and accessibility. We often do small spaces such as laundries, bathrooms, single rooms and or garages. We'll always do our best to accommodate you.
2I have a large concrete floor, can you help?
We are small floor specialists. You'll be hard pressed to find a more economical rate on a floor under 100m2 from any reputable competitor. For larger jobs we will happily recommend you to one of our trusted partners.
3What areas of Auckland do you service?
Small Floors Concrete Polishing is based in central Auckland. We travel as far north as Albany and as far south as Papakura depending on the size of the job.
4What about noise, dust and clean up once the job is complete?
As you expect there is some noise involved in the grinding process but nothing that would upset the neighbours. Our machines use quality dust extractors which significantly reduce the amount of dust during the grinding process. All our jobs are left as clean (if not cleaner) as when we arrived.
